Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups frozen sweet corn, thawed
- 1 cup cream-style corn
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed sweet corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, honey, and melted butter. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the casserole cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added texture, mix in 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers or jalapeños for a spicy kick.
- Substitute the cheddar cheese with pepper jack or mozzarella for a different flavor profile.
