- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the honey mixture over the chicken in the skillet, making sure each piece is well coated.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the honey mixture.
- Serve with steamed rice or quinoa to soak up the delicious sauce.
