Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves, packed
- 1 medium banana, frozen
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the spinach, frozen banana, almond milk, matcha powder, honey or maple syrup (if using), and Greek yogurt (if using).
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
- Add the ice cubes and blend again until the ice is crushed and the smoothie is chilled.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or syrup.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
- Substitute the spinach with kale for a different flavor and added nutrients.
