Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and browned.
  4. Stir in the cauliflower florets, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower is tender but still crisp.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
