Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef or turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the garlic butter honey BBQ sauce over the cooked meat in the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a generous amount of the meat mixture on each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheddar cheese.
- Drizzle with sour cream if desired and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
