Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Bang Bang Salmon topped with a creamy sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the spice mixture evenly over each fillet.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. While the salmon is baking, prepare the creamy sauce by combining mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl. Mix well until smooth.
  7. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the creamy sauce over the top.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispy texture, broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
  • Substitute the salmon with chicken breasts or shrimp for a different protein option. Adjust cooking times accordingly.
