- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is bubbly.
- Carefully add the sliced bananas to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes, gently stirring to coat them in the sauce.
- Remove the skillet from heat and carefully add the dark rum. Return to the heat and allow it to cook for another minute, stirring gently.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Serve immediately over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
