  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. If using a grill, oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the marinade.
