- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 2 tablespoons dried parsley)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until well blended.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and parsley to the cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Using your hands, form the cheese mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Roll each cheese ball in chopped nuts until fully coated. If using bacon bits, you can roll some of the cheese balls in bacon instead.
- Place the cheese balls on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture.
- You can substitute the nuts with crushed crackers or breadcrumbs for a different texture.
