Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 2 tablespoons dried parsley)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until well blended.
  2. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and parsley to the cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Using your hands, form the cheese mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each cheese ball in chopped nuts until fully coated. If using bacon bits, you can roll some of the cheese balls in bacon instead.
  5. Place the cheese balls on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture.
  • You can substitute the nuts with crushed crackers or breadcrumbs for a different texture.
