A delicious and layered dessert combining pecan pie filling, whipped cream, and vanilla pudding, perfect for any occasion.

- 3 cups pecan pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups vanilla pudding (prepared)
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or caramel sauce for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the prepared vanilla pudding and 1 cup of whipped cream. Gently fold until well mixed.
- In a trifle dish or a large glass bowl, layer half of the crushed graham crackers on the bottom.
- Spoon half of the pecan pie filling over the graham crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Add half of the vanilla pudding mixture on top of the pecan pie filling, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Layer half of the remaining whipped cream over the pudding mixture.
- Sprinkle half of the chopped pecans on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients: graham crackers, pecan pie filling, vanilla pudding mixture, whipped cream, and chopped pecans.
- Finish with a final layer of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or a drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, add chocolate pudding instead of vanilla, or layer in some chocolate chips.
- Substitute the pecan pie filling with pumpkin pie filling for a seasonal variation.
