Description

A delicious and creamy dish featuring tender pork chops cooked in a flavorful garlic sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in heavy cream, thyme, rosemary, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Transfer the pork chops to the crockpot and pour the creamy garlic sauce over them.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork is tender.
  7. About 15 minutes before serving, stir in the chopped spinach and Parmesan cheese, allowing it to wilt and melt into the sauce.
  8. Serve the pork chops with the creamy sauce over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut milk.
  • Add sliced mushrooms or bell peppers to the crockpot for extra flavor and nutrition.
