- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
- Add the salmon pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Place the salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon bites and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and crispy on the edges.
- While the salmon is baking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Once the salmon is done, drizzle the thickened sauce over the bites and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
