Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are delicious, bite-sized pieces of salmon coated in a crunchy panko breadcrumb crust, served with a spicy and tangy Bang Bang sauce.

- 1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each salmon piece in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- In a large skillet, heat about 1/4 inch of oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the salmon bites in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the salmon bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to create the Bang Bang sauce.
- Serve the crispy salmon bites warm, drizzled with the Bang Bang sauce and garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For a healthier option, bake the salmon bites at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Try adding a teaspoon of lime zest to the Bang Bang sauce for an extra burst of flavor.
