- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the mango mixture into the whipped cream until well combined, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
- Spoon the mousse into individual serving dishes or glasses.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the mousse to set.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
- Add a pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper to the mango mixture for a spicy twist.
