Description

A delicious and creamy salmon dish infused with lemon and herbs, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dill, parsley, paprika, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
  • Add sautéed spinach or asparagus to the baking sheet for a complete meal in one dish.
