Description
A delicious and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of cheesecake and cherry pie in a fluffy, easy-to-make treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
- Add the cherry pie filling and gently mix until the cherries are evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese mixture.
- In serving dishes or a large bowl, layer half of the cheesecake fluff mixture, followed by half of the crushed graham crackers and half of the chopped pecans (if using).
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cheesecake fluff, graham crackers, and pecans.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute the cream cheese with Greek yogurt and use a sugar substitute for the powdered sugar.
- You can also swap the cherry pie filling for other fruit fillings like blueberry or strawberry for a different flavor.
