- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions
- Start by toasting the bread slices lightly in a toaster or on a skillet until just golden. This will help prevent sogginess later.
- In a small bowl, mash the ripe avocado with a fork until smooth. Stir in the softened cream cheese until well combined. Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or red pepper flakes if desired.
- Spread the avocado and cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the avocado mixture on one slice, then top with the other slice of bread, avocado side down.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, carefully place the sandwich in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side, pressing down gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking and melting of the cheese.
- Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing in half.
