Ingredients

  • 16 large white mushrooms, stems removed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the mushroom caps and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the crab mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with additional parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the filling.
  • Substitute the crab meat with shrimp or lobster for a different seafood flavor.
