A delicious recipe for crab stuffed mushrooms, perfect as an appetizer or party dish.

- 16 large white mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the mushroom caps and place them on a baking sheet.
- Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the crab mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with additional parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the filling.
- Substitute the crab meat with shrimp or lobster for a different seafood flavor.
