Colored Deviled Eggs are a fun and tasty twist on the classic deviled eggs, perfect for parties and gatherings.

- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Food coloring (various colors)
- 1 tablespoon water per color
Instructions
- Prepare the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering them with cold water.
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, cover the pot, remove it from the heat, and let it sit for 12 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to cool.
- Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Mash the yolks with a fork and add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- In separate small bowls, mix a few drops of food coloring with 1 tablespoon of water for each color you want to use.
- Dip the egg whites into the colored water for about 5-10 minutes, or until they reach your desired color intensity.
- Fill each white with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
- Chill the colored deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the yolk mixture.
- Garnish the filled eggs with fresh herbs like chives or dill for added flavor and color.
