Cinnamon Roll Apple Lasagna is a deliciously unique dessert that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls and apple pie in a delightful layered dish.

- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 4 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss until the apples are well coated.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Cut each roll into quarters.
- Layer half of the cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Pour half of the melted butter over the cinnamon roll pieces.
- Spread half of the apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls. If using, sprinkle half of the pecans and raisins on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces, melted butter, apple mixture, and any remaining nuts or raisins.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with caramel sauce. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add a layer of cream cheese frosting between the layers.
- Substitute the Granny Smith apples with your favorite apple variety, such as Honeycrisp or Fuji, for a different flavor profile.
