Description

A rich and creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie that combines the flavors of chocolate and peanut butter in a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth.
  6. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to mix until well combined.
  7. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully incorporated.
  9. Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled cookie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  10. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the milk, stirring until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the peanut butter filling.
  12. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  13. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a layer of chocolate ganache on top before chilling.
  • You can also substitute the chocolate cookie crust with a graham cracker crust for a different taste.
