Description

A delightful and colorful Chocolate Chip Funfetti Cookie Cake that combines the classic flavors of chocolate chip cookies with the fun of rainbow sprinkles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  7. Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cookie cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, try adding different flavored chips, like white chocolate or peanut butter chips, in place of some of the chocolate chips.
  • You can also top the cooled cookie cake with whipped cream and additional sprinkles for a festive touch.
