Description
Indulge in a gooey delight with this rich and chocolatey brownie pudding that is perfect for dessert lovers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is set but the center is still slightly gooey.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- This dessert is best served warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
- You can also add chopped nuts, such as walnuts or pecans, for added texture.
- If you prefer a more intense chocolate flavor, increase the cocoa powder to 1 1/4 cups.
