A rich and indulgent dessert combining layers of brownie bites, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream, enhanced with coffee and cocoa for a delightful mocha flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups brownie bites (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings or chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed espresso beans (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the cooled brewed coffee with the vanilla extract. Set aside.
  2. In a trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer half of the brownie bites at the bottom.
  3. Drizzle half of the coffee mixture over the brownie layer to soak them slightly.
  4. Add half of the chocolate pudding on top of the brownies, spreading it evenly.
  5. Layer half of the whipped cream over the pudding.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie bites, coffee mixture, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream.
  7. Finish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder and top with chocolate shavings or chocolate chips.
  8. If using, sprinkle crushed espresso beans on top for an extra coffee kick.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a nutty flavor, add chopped walnuts or pecans between the layers.
