A delicious twist on the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu, this casserole combines shredded chicken, diced ham, and Swiss cheese, topped with a crispy breadcrumb layer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, diced ham, shredded Swiss cheese, and sliced green onions. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the milk mixture over the chicken and ham mixture, stirring until everything is well coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
  7. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
