  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream and mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  5. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom to form a crust.
  6. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust, followed by half of the cherry pie filling. Repeat the layers with the remaining cream cheese mixture and cherry filling.
  7. If using, sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for added crunch.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
