Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 batch of brownies (about 9x9 inches), cooled and cut into cubes
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. In a large trifle dish or individual cups, layer half of the brownie cubes at the bottom.
  6. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the brownie layer.
  7. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture over the caramel layer.
  8. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips and chopped pecans (if using) over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie cubes, caramel sauce, cream cheese mixture, chocolate chips, and pecans.
  10. Finish with a layer of whipped cream on top and drizzle with additional caramel sauce.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
