Description

A delicious layered dessert combining rich brownie, creamy cheesecake, and sweet caramel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups brownie mix (plus ingredients required for preparation)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Bake in a greased 9×9 inch pan and let cool completely.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Once the brownies are cooled, cut them into small squares.
  5. In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer the ingredients: start with a layer of brownie squares, followed by a layer of the cream cheese mixture, a drizzle of caramel sauce, a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips, and a layer of crushed graham crackers.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the cream cheese mixture and a drizzle of caramel sauce on top. Sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the trifle to set.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate brownies instead of regular.
  • You can also substitute the caramel sauce with chocolate sauce for a different twist.
