A decadent dessert combining rich brownie, creamy cheesecake, and a luscious caramel swirl.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for cheesecake)
- 1 large egg (for cheesecake)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended.
- Spread half of the brownie batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer, spreading it gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top of the cheesecake layer. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the two batters together.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top and use the knife to swirl it into the batter for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
- You can substitute the caramel sauce with chocolate sauce for a different twist.
