Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the spices are well combined.
  3. Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface. Divide the cooked beef mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each.
  4. Top the beef with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced pickles.
  5. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the toppings.
  6. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to create a wrap.
  7. If desired, place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and toast for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef and use whole wheat tortillas.
