Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes until vibrant and tender-crisp.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water until cornstarch is dissolved.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Finish with sesame oil (if using) and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
