Description
A quick and flavorful salmon recipe with a spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound salmon fillets
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down.
- Spread a generous amount of the bang bang sauce over each salmon fillet, reserving some sauce for drizzling later.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with the reserved sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a crispy topping, broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Substitute the salmon with shrimp or chicken for a different protein option, adjusting cooking times accordingly.
