Description

A quick and flavorful salmon recipe with a spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down.
  4. Spread a generous amount of the bang bang sauce over each salmon fillet, reserving some sauce for drizzling later.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with the reserved sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For a crispy topping, broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
  • Substitute the salmon with shrimp or chicken for a different protein option, adjusting cooking times accordingly.
