A delicious and easy recipe for baked ham and cheese croissants, perfect for a quick meal or snack.

- 2 large croissants
- 4 ounces sliced deli ham
- 4 ounces sliced cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant half.
- Layer the sliced ham and cheese evenly on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Place the top half of the croissant back on and press gently.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the croissants.
- Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a crispy texture, broil the croissants for the last 2 minutes of baking.
- Try adding sliced tomatoes or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
