A delicious and easy recipe for baked ham and cheese croissants, perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 large croissants
  • 4 ounces sliced deli ham
  • 4 ounces sliced cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant half.
  4. Layer the sliced ham and cheese evenly on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Place the top half of the croissant back on and press gently.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  7. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the croissants.
  8. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispy texture, broil the croissants for the last 2 minutes of baking.
