Description

Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle is a decadent dessert that combines layers of creamy cheesecake, rich chocolate pudding, and crunchy cookie crumbs, all infused with the delightful flavor of Baileys Irish Cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding (prepared)
  • 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs (such as Oreos)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  3. In a trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer the ingredients starting with a layer of chocolate cookie crumbs at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of the cream cheese mixture, followed by a layer of chocolate pudding. Drizzle a little Baileys Irish Cream over the pudding layer.
  5. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top.
  6. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and chocolate shavings or cocoa powder on top for garnish.
  7. Cover and refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the layers to set.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute the heavy cream with whipped topping.
  • You can also use vanilla pudding instead of chocolate for a different flavor profile.
