Description
Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Bites are a crispy and flavorful appetizer made with bite-sized pieces of chicken coated in a seasoned breadcrumb mixture and tossed in buffalo sauce.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Celery sticks and ranch dressing for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, place the beaten eggs.
- In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture, then the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Spray the chicken bites lightly with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter.
- Once the chicken is done, toss the bites in the buffalo sauce mixture until well coated.
- Serve immediately with celery sticks and ranch dressing, if desired.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, use a mild buffalo sauce or mix it with a little honey.
- Add some shredded cheese to the chicken bites before air frying for a cheesy twist.
